5 months ago I cannot recommend anyone other than Sohayla with a clean conscious!! I got married September 24th and brought my dress in (it had SO MUCH fabric) to get altered. She helped calm my nerves about getting my dress altered and hemmed by answering all of my questions. She made sure that it was truly the dress of my dreams! I highly recommend Sohayla for any of your alterations needs! I’m getting married next week and she has been nothing but helpful to me. I wanted to order a wedding dress online and I called her to see if she could measure me first. She said sure, come on over right now. She did it free of charge! I picked out the dress and went to Sohayla to do my alterations, come to find out that the dress just was not going to work for my body type. I ordered 2 more right away to see which would work best. She has given me her honest opinion the whole time. Which I love! I want the dress to be perfect on my special day. I have gone numerous times to make sure everything is fitting correctly and that I am happy! She definitely knows what she is doing! I’m very happy with my dress! I can’t wait for my soon to be husband see me walking down the aisle! Thank you Sohayla for all that you have done to help me! You have gone above and beyond! Soheila is the best! I had a great first-time experience getting my hubby's favorite jacket repaired after he accidentally burned a hole in one of the elbows. The patches look fantastic and the stitch work is top notch! I highly recommend her for all of your custom tailoring, alteration, and fashion needs.

Sohayla is very nice and easy to talk to. She has a very clean and nice dedicated work space at her home. I'm very thankful I found her mid September for my son's October 7th wedding. The lace top of my dress as well as the length needed to be shortened. She managed to squeeze me into her calendar on such short notice and got it done by the end of September. It turned out perfect. Sohayla is very knowledgeable, creative and very professional. I strongly recommend her. Working with Sohayla reminds me of my mother who was a professional seamstress/dressmaker and fashion designer.

Soheila is amazing! I had a last minute urgent need and she was available, willing and her work was beautiful. Her office/ studio is located behind her home, but it was private and safe. My dress fits perfectly and i could not recommend Sew Chic more!

Sohayla is a true professional and fair in every part of her business, including her demeanor, her interaction with clients and her sewing skills are out of this world. She fixed a big mistake I made on a dress I was making for my granddaughter. I would have normally had Sohayla sew the dress, but my granddaughter wanted the dress to be made by ME. 😊The mistake was so severe I thought it would require me to buy new material and start all over. BUT she fixed it. A miracle! She is so good! Don’t you just love her!

Sohayla altered my sport coat for a wedding. I work out of state during the week typically and timing had me looking for a tailor after hours on the weekend. She graciously let me set a last minute appointment and asked me when I needed the coat by. She finished it before the deadline and the work was perfect! Many tailors don't work on men's clothing, but she does and she knows what she's doing. I highly recommend her to everybody I know!

i brought my prom dress in at the beginning of march asking for a slit added to the right side, a little bit of the poof removed and to hem the dress. she told me that she would have it back to me on april 6th. i got a message on april 4th asking again what i wanted done to my dress, when i went in on the 6th my dress had been shortened like i asked, but the hem was not straight. there was no slit on the dress, and the layer of chiffon making the dress poofy was still there. on top of this, the hook and eye was broken. she had me put the dress on and informed me that “i should make sure i don’t gain anymore weight or the dress wouldn’t fit for prom” and then set my pickup date as 2 days before the dance (april 29th) my mom called her and told her we needed it earlier when i came home in tears. she said my dress would be ready on april 11th, i got a message on the 8th informing me my dress was ready, i came out that day, the poof had been cut out of my dress as i asked, and three of the four layers of the dress had a slit, the bottom layer was still uncut. the skit was not cut straight and the layers did not align. she told me she was going to cut the slit on the sean and then didn’t see if the seams of the layers lined up, which they didn’t. she took the dress to her front room and cut the bottom layer, we had to request that she surge the edges and she told us multiple times it wasn’t necessary (it was) she again asked me to come back (for the third time now) i did, i came back with my mom on the 11th. my mom requested that she sew all the layers together, she informed us this was not a possibility because she had not cut the slits aligned with each other. the slit was small and not noticeable, my mom requested that she make the slit bigger and she cut the dress while i was wearing it, these cuts were not straight, they were jagged and curved. she again asked us to come back the next day. my mom said that she would be back to pickup the dress in 2 hours. the dress was ready. the slit was still jagged and the hem still uneven. we paid 100+ dollars for my prom dress to get ruined.

Sohayla is a wonderful seamstress. I had a bridesmaid dress that needed to be hemmed up. I got it from Birdy Grey and it was substantially too long, which is surprising because I am 5'10. She came to me recommended by a friend who has used her services multiple times. She was immediately responsive and we booked a time for a fitting. She was very professional and kind through the whole process and great to talk to. She has a lot of experience and I trust her expertise. Every time I came for a fitting and for pickup she was receiving phone calls and requests for her services. She is very popular and I can see why. If you need her services I would say plan ahead because she's in demand for a reason. I'm super grateful for her help with my dress, she did a beautiful job and I will use her services in the future! I planned a huge event that I had the dress for 3 months prior. Due to all the planning I hadn’t even realized my dress was too long even in my highest heals, until the day before the event. I frantically called around and Soheila had called me back saying she had a last minute opening. I have no idea what I would have done if she wasn’t able to get me in. I know she was a gift from my guardian angels that day. She had it perfectly done for me the next day just in time. I also had lost some weight since I had bought it, and she took it upon herself to add an elastic band complimentary so that it wouldn’t feel so loose. The seems were nice and ironed. She went above and beyond so that I could feel great on a big night. 🤩👏

I had 3 pairs of Scrub bottoms that were way to long on me and desperately needed them hemmed asap for work and she was able to get in with her and have them ready for the next day! She did such an amazing job ❤️

Soheila was easily reachable and had same day appointment which saved me for my interview! She fixed my pants quickly and was so generous and kind. I will go to her for all my future alteration and tailoring needs!

I was nervous about wearing a bridesmaid dress with my postpartum body, but Sohayla tailored my dress perfectly to my body. I feel amazing in my dress!
